Campaign to Bring CT Scanner to Fairview

The Fairview Health Complex Foundation is proud to announce approval to move forward with plans to purchase and install a CT Scanner for the Fairview Health Complex — a milestone that could significantly improve access to diagnostic and emergency care for residents throughout the region.

Currently, many Fairview-area patients must travel more than 200 km for CT imaging. Bringing this technology locally will reduce travel burdens, improve response times, and support long-term healthcare recruitment and retention.

The total project cost is estimated at $3.5–$4.5 million. To date, the Foundation has committed $1 million, and a generous local family has pledged $500,000. The Foundation will also match individual donations up to $1 million.

The campaign is now inviting Letters of Intent from community members, businesses, and organizations. Contributions may be made in 2026, 2027, or split across both years, allowing flexible giving options.

With community support, the Foundation is confident Fairview can secure this vital piece of medical equipment and build a stronger, more sustainable future for local healthcare.
