Investing in Growth & Patient Care!

We’re pleased to recognize Ramon Rayos as a recipient of the Doug & Jean Snider Educational Grant, which supports education and long-term staff retention at the Fairview Health Complex.

Ramon has been employed with AHS at the Fairview Health Complex since August 2022, beginning his career as a Health Care Aide before moving into a Physiotherapy Assistant role, where he has worked for over two years. Trained as an Occupational Therapist in the Philippines, Ramon is currently completing the required Canadian exams and assessments to continue his profession here in Fairview .

This grant will help Ramon complete the final steps needed to work as an Occupational Therapist in Canada, strengthening local patient care and helping fill a long-standing need at the Fairview Health Complex.

Ramon’s dedication to continued learning, patient care, and commitment to our community truly reflects the spirit of this grant.
