Doug & Jean Snider Educational Grant
The Doug & Jean Snider Educational Grant supports Fairview-area Health Shared Services (HSS) staff pursuing education or training that helps strengthen patient care and staff retention in the community.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be employed by HSS in the Fairview region
Have worked in the Fairview region for a minimum of 2 years
Work at least a 0.4 position or 700 hours per year
Use the funding for educational purposes
Pursue a course or training opportunity that will enhance their ability to provide better patient care
Up to $10,000 may be awarded per calendar year, with a maximum of $3,000 per individual.
Course tuition and other legitimate course-related costs may be considered.
Application Requirements
Applicants must complete the Fairview Health Complex Foundation General Scholarship, Bursary & Grant Application.
Applicants should also provide a brief explanation of how the course or program will benefit them and, in turn, improve care for their patients.
Applications are accepted throughout the year.
